Andromeda Software is a software consulting and engineering company specializing in development of graphic intensive applications for desktop, mobile phones, and web servers.

Founded in 1988, the company's office, pictured above, is located in Thousand Oaks, CA. Andromeda's founders and senior engineering staff are veterans of the digital imaging industry. Accumulated experience helps the company deliver engineered products that have substance, innovation, quality, and industrial strength.

Andromeda publishes its own products and dedicates resources and passionate interest in custom engineered software for pre-press production, image management, and optimizing workflows dependant on Adobe Host applications (Photoshop, InDesign). Andromeda engineered products are delivered on multi-platform desktop (Mac and Win), mobile (iPhone) and Saas (Software available as a service) configurations.

Since its inception, Andromeda worked closely with Adobe Systems to develop digital imaging software for worldwide marketing, licensed to a major company server based architecture and software to enable 10,000 schools to create online School Yearbooks, serviced over 35,000 Adobe Photoshop customers with special effects plug-ins; provided 4,000 Adobe InDesign users plug-ins to manage publications with SQL compatible databases, and provided numerous businesses, photographers, and printers with software to assist in the creation of graphic intesive documents.
