Andromeda Announces The Mac OS X Upgrades for the Shadow Filter.

Westlake Village, CA – Andromeda Software, Inc. today announced the immediate availability of the Shadow filter for Mac OS X.  Shadow filter enables photographers and graphic artists the ability to add realistic shadowing effects to their images using Adobe Photoshop or any other image-editing program that accepts Photoshop compatible program as its host program.  

Shadow's uniqueness is in using 3D geometry to cast realistic shadows. A shadow of the users input image is imposed on a casting plane that can be oriented anywhere in 3D space around the input image.  Shadow has four lights that can be individually selected and oriented in the space surrounding the input image for multiple shadows.  The Filter also has a virtual Camera. The Camera pans in space anywhere around input image for unique perspective effects.
